Prince Charles thinks developing a great and varied news corporations is important:
-Giving the opportunities to our former colonies that becomes independent to join our winning country with some restrictions. The mean to achieve that is through the economy controlling the majority of the businesses in our target countries.
All around the world creating direct and indirect medias that will advertise the image of our country. One of the clear and direct manifestation of the lost of power of our country is its lack of planetary media, public and private to carry high all over the world our country official voice. Of course there is the iconic BBC, but it is only has radio mainly. Our country does not have any planetary TV station as CNN, or RT, or France 24.
That is not surprising as it shows the disengagement of our country from the international scene, in the defense of its core national interests, we give up defending our interests and we do not certainly make matter our foreign policy and government positions. For many country and of the greatest; it does not matter certainly what we think. After all in their perspective, we do not have the mean of making matter our official voice. We do not have lot of representations all around the world, and most importantly we do not have military bases in key regions, or in the region affect by the crisis. The anchors, and the world political leaders, only listen to voices they know matter as having forces on the ground that they could use, to enforce their position. Lacking that, then our official voices is not important in their perspectives.
More owning a worldwide planetary media as BBC makes us win world war II, more the lack of great varied and diversified medias is making our country losing its super power, and it is becoming invisible in the international arena. Do not forget this mediatic blackout has been planed and well applied in order to destroy, systematically and in dark our country's influence. Can you imagine their mediac blackout is so severe and systematic that at an extent that 1,000 people can be killed in our country through bombing for example and they will silence the news; it is barely that they may announce that there is an electronic cigarette that lights in a public place, if of course they announce it? Such example, alone shows how they set a mediatic omerta as one of their first measure since they took power for destroying our country and its super power.
The already super great media, the first super greatest media on the world BBC created by my father, King George VI have been made hardly received in many key countries of the world. Recently, I have been in Nigeria, Katsina, I was more than surprised to see that you could not have it on FM. We are talking here about Nigeria, the same country we colonised, the first African economy, and the greatest African country geopolitically. Then, how can Nigerien that have a huge history with us through colonization, and with which we have lot of greatest geopolitical interests as the oil with BP, or Shell, and as the country carrying of our foreign politics in Africa; heard our official voice? They do not have any direct access to it; they are let to themselves, and they are let to the other adversary power to turn them at their advantage. In countries where you can have BBC on FM, the position on the FM band-wave is isolated among many Channels, and it is hardly you can get it, with regular disruptions. And in some areas of Niamey, the capital of Niger, you cannot have BBC on air if not the night, when every time, everywhere you can have easily RFI, VOA, and Radio China without even antenna. Furthermore, whenever there is blackout the radio not broadcasting as all, as the local rely did not have generators, but use the electricity of the national electricity company. In countries as Niger, even Chinese national radio is clearly and easily received with a numeric high quality sound.
